Effective Date: 2 March 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of EchoVerify, a KYC and identity verification platform operated by Echo Systems Network Ltd in Nigeria.
By creating an account, generating API keys, or using the EchoVerify portal or API, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your organization and represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
EchoVerify provides identity verification, document verification, AML/KYT-related checks, reporting tools, and wallet-funded transaction processing for approved corporate users.
You must use the service only for lawful business purposes and comply with all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations, including anti-money laundering and consumer protection obligations where relevant to your operations.
You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid legal basis to submit personal data for verification. Both parties shall process personal data in line with applicable Nigerian data protection requirements, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and related guidance issued by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
EchoVerify may approve, suspend, or deactivate accounts to protect platform security, prevent abuse, satisfy legal obligations, or respond to compliance concerns.
You must protect account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for activities performed using your credentials. Suspected compromise must be reported immediately to support@echosystems.ng.
Verification services are wallet-funded. Charges, applicable margins, and statutory taxes (including VAT where applicable) are shown in platform records and receipts. Payments are generally non-refundable except where EchoVerify explicitly applies a reversal policy (for example, configured failed-verification reversals).
You must not use EchoVerify for unlawful profiling, discrimination, fraud, unauthorized surveillance, circumvention of sanctions controls, or any act prohibited by Nigerian law, including relevant provisions of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act 2015 (as amended).
EchoVerify relies on external infrastructure and verification providers. We may update, replace, or reconfigure backend integrations without exposing provider details to your end users.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain service reliability, legal compliance, or security. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
EchoVerify software, branding, and documentation are owned by Echo Systems Network Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service under these Terms.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Echo Systems Network Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, including lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Total liability for direct claims is limited to fees paid for the affected service period.
You agree to indemnify Echo Systems Network Ltd against claims, fines, losses, or liabilities arising from your unlawful use of the platform, breach of these Terms, or failure to obtain required data subject consent.
Either party may terminate access. We may suspend or terminate immediately for legal, security, payment, or abuse reasons. Provisions that by nature survive termination will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Parties shall first attempt good-faith resolution, failing which disputes shall be submitted to courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
